Alan Crosby, editor of The Local Historian, appeared in a video explaining the prizes awarded by the British Association for Local History (BALH) to authors of articles submitted to local journals. He commented: “The Chronicle is a fairly modest publication, it’s not big and glossy, it’s fairly modest and it has a relatively low budget for a small Society but it produces good work“.
