Short courses for the public
The broad sweep of courses in history encompasses British and European history from the decline of the Roman era to the present day, the ancient world, Asia and the far east and the Americas. Local and social history courses concentrate on cultural and social aspects of history, on different strata of society, and on teaching you to do research using local and national archives.
